Major achievements in recent years (3 years):

The main aim and objective of District Registrar's Office, Manikganj is to establish a people-friendly registration system by establishing effective document registration system at minimum cost and in shortest time by developing institutional capacity. For that purpose, a total of 567 officers, support staff and deed writers and 85 marriage registrars have been trained at this time to create skilled manpower. Bank booths have been set up in 5 sub-registry office premises to facilitate local government tax collection. The number of registered documents and revenue collection are as follows: 32,753 documents totaled 77,77,59,833.38 taka in 2020-2021 financial year; 36,068 documents totaled 116,02,83,611.46 taka in 2021-2022 financial year; and 141,21,31,997.26 rupees in registration fee for 38,206 registered documents in the financial year 2022-23 (up to May, 2023 AD).
